Shall we date?: Ninja Love KOTARO
As I mentioned in the introduction post (HERE), I've decided to keep track of the correct answers for the characters from the iPod's otome game "Shall we date?: Ninja Love" despite there already being a walkthrough for this game. However, none of them are as extensive as mine. This post will be the walkthrough solution for Kotaro typhoon

He's a really quiet and shy character who is concealing a rough past that he had. It's interesting to note that because Kotaro is such a reserved person, it's your job to initiate the relationship, otherwise there won't be any progress with him exclamation1

Here are the photos associated with Kotaro from his album:

His letters to you (which are sent to your mailbox by the end of the chapter) are as followed:

Despite there being three endings associated with each character, only the happy ending will be the only one meriting an event picture. The other two endings do not have a picture linked to them. This is the picture rewarded to you if you get your Happy Ending with him. Summary of the ending will not be provided to avoid spoilers of this endearing ending hearts

Depending on the answers you give to Kotaro, you'll get one of the endings aforementioned. If you chose all the correct answers, you'll get the Happy Ending. However, if you choose all the incorrect answers, you'll get the Unhappy Ending and the Normal Ending is a combination of both correct and incorrect answers sparkles

In order to get the Happy Ending, you must select these answers (with some variation, but this is guaranteed):
I'm aware
No, it's fine
Come sleep with me
It's our chance!
I believe you
I never said goodbye
Who cares about a kimono!
I just couldn't help myself
I feel so exhausted
Of course I worry!
I could never!
It won't help her!
Am I causing trouble?
I'm important?
Kiss him again
I'm not special
Can I hold your hand?
I thought at least 10 more...
I'm sorry
I'll get help!
I know

That's the end of Kotaro's route~! hearts

Please do not repost this without my permission or claim this as your own as it took me a while to get these answers!!

tip question
Hi! this has been a great help so far but how long does it usually take to get a energy back and how many chapters does Kotaro have?
corlee1289: Blue Floralcorlee1289 on October 22nd, 2012 01:25 am (UTC)
Re: tip question
I'm not entirely sure since I don't play the free GREE version as I already have the bought and paid version of the game ^^;;

But from what I remember on the paid version Kotaro has between 14-16 chapters, but I could be wrong.

BUT! NTT Solmare is currently having at 40% discount on their games, so you can take advantage of that and get it whilst it's on sale in order to avoid waiting :3

Re: tip question
The paid version has 14 chapters. I accidentally skipped when I got to the normal ending of Kotaro but every time I play it now I can only get the happy or unhappy ending. How much do I have to combine of good and bad answers to get the normal ending?

Re: tip question
That is a REALLY hard question for me to answer...

I recall playing this game over and over to try to get that blasted normal ending.

There are certain questions that weigh more heavily than others when you play, so that will definitely affect your love meter.

But the only thing I can say is: KEEP TRYING. I had to play each route quite a few times before I was successful TT^TT

Re: tip question
For the energy around 4 hour per energy point. So , about a whole day give or take an hour and some minutes.

Tip Question
Hi, I'm so happy to see your guide. I'm a new player of this game, and this is my first time to play an all-English version game like this. Would you be so kind tell me how to save these unlocked pictures in the iphone? I really can't find the "save" option in the album or my page, or if it is not able to save them in the Free Gree version?

Re: Tip Question
Hi there~!

Generally, you can access and save the photo directly from the app itself when you visit the "album" page, usually there, you will see the photos that you've unlocked from the gallery and should be able to save it from there.

Once you tap on the photo that you want, you should see the photo and if you scroll down, there should be a list of dimensions on the size of the photo that you would like to save.

OTHERWISE, if you can't seem to be able to save it (even if you tap and hold the photo to force open a drop down menu to save the photo), you can always "print screen it". I'm not familiar with Androids, but you can print screen your iPhone/iPod if you press the home button and the power button at the same time.

Re: Tip Question
Thank for answering~~ I'll check the album page again, and I totally forgot there is the "print screen it", thanks for reminding me. I got the admin's advice that I can play the "Munenori" route for free, so I'd like to follow your guide and finish this part soon, and go start another story. Again, thank you so much.

Hanzo story
Did you know that the latest update to the paid version now includes the Hanzo story?

Thank you for telling me!!

Hi there! First off, I want to say thank you for putting the answers for all the ninja online. They've helped me a lot. But there's something I'm having trouble with. I've been following the walkthrough for Kotaro and so far I've only gotten the first and second photos. Did something change recently that would prevent me from getting all 6 pictures? If you could get back to me, I'd appreciate it.

Re: Pictures

I don't know if there was anything that they changed to prevent you from getting the rest of the pictures.

But do keep in mind that these answers are for the PAID non-GREE version.

Re: Pictures
Ooooooh, okay. That makes much more sense. -_- Okay, thanks for letting me know!

Re: Pictures
I think for the free gree version, you have to play some of the spin offs that might unlock the pics. I don't know if that is entirely true, but you could give it a shot

Re: Pictures
I'm not entirely sure, but these are the answers that are used for the non-GREE (paid) version in order to get all the photos.

As far as I know, answers may be different if you're using the answers to play the GREE version.
yunaleska1 on October 27th, 2013 08:44 am (UTC)
Looks like I'm having the same problem as some others.
I have followed this perfectly but have only got the first and second picture.

What does the correct answer say for you? Because when I choose the options it just says 'Close!' and I know it's not the best answer. Is the right answer 'Brilliant!' or something like that? Your other answers for eg Chezem and Alvah are perfectly fine and I have free versions for all of them. It's just this one I've had a problem with so far and don't know if it'll be the same with the others on ninja love.

Re: Pictures
Yeah, "close!" Isn't the best answers! I just try to use a different answer than this one and it give me "brilliant!".
So, all this answers are not exactly the better :)
But thank for posting :)

Should i buy the paid version of Ninja Love?

I'm not sure if i should buy the Ninja Love app or just continue to play the free one.

i would like to know from you what is the difference of the two of them, is the paid one good? What are the pros and cons? How many character can i play and would you recommend it to buy it?

Thanks :D

Re: Should i buy the paid version of Ninja Love?
To be honest, it all depends on your wallet.

I personally prefer the paid version because I can play the story undisturbed at my own pace. But for the free GREE version, you have to wait X amount of time in order to continue on with the story or to earn some kind of thing in order to progress.

The stories are generally more or less the same, with the exception of certain minor details incorporated to add a little flair, but the story baseline is practically the same thing :3

I'm not sure about the characters. When you buy them, you can either get a bundle pack (as you you end up getting two characters or more) or you may have to purchase each character's routes separately.

What it all basically comes down to is this: If you have the money and are impatient waiting for you thing to reset or whatever, buy it. If you don't have the money or are patient enough to wait and play the story a little at a time each day, then you can play the free version.

Wow! I love your posts on this topic. Definitely helped me get through the story xD but I was wondering.. right now im playing the version where I bought the app for around $4 and it came with couple free characters.. which version is this??
And another thing about this version.. does it not come with the side stories?? Or I am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for such an awesome blog! :D
corlee1289corlee1289 on June 25th, 2014 12:18 pm (UTC)
This is the paid version (not the free GREE version)

It does come with a couple of free characters, but you need to purchase the additional characters, as well as purchase the side stories.

All in all, it means you need to pay if you want the other characters and if you want the side stories.
