Layton's Legacy [1950-2011]
I was devastated to find out that the NDP leader, Jack Layton passed away today heartbreak

Back during the spring elections, I voted for him because he was such a charismatic individual.

I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one who thought that since his NDP party swept across our province, winning him 59 seats, usurping many from the other parties exclamation1

It also pains me to see that he passed away not long after he became the leader of the opposition party. He didn't even get to be in political power long enough before he passed away.

I'm not in the mood to partake in any fansubbing activities for the time being as I'm too sadden to work on any downarrow

It is sad... He worked hard and long for this moment so it's heartbreaking to see him leaving at this point.

He worked so hard to get to this point to only have passed away before he could even accomplish anything with that power TT^TT

I read snippets of his letter in the Gazette at work last week. I didn't vote for the NDP, but I do agree that he was such a charismatic leader and his party, even without him there, will make great changes throughout Canada.
