Remember how my last post I was ranting about the snow? Now I have a before and after picture within less than 24 hours of each other~!

This is what my house looked like yesterday (Monday, December 6th, 2010) at 2:30PM when I decided to take a picture because I was happy about the snowfall....

This is what my house looks like now 17 hours later  which is today (Tuesday, December 7th, 2010) at 7:45AM

There's at least 15 centimeters of snow outside... AND IT'S STILL SNOWING!! o____O;;

It's white, flakey, cold, and really evil when there's so much of it and you need to leave the house to go somewhere...
mskbbyrainbowpursuits on December 7th, 2010 11:50 am (UTC)
Wow so much snow! But it's still getting me excited! There's no snow in my country and I've been to countries with snow, one of them Japan, but never during winters! So your second photo got me really excited! I wish the snow does not get in your way (if you're going to be doing things outdoors)! :-)

corlee1289: Dear Snow [2010.10.01] (MS) Panningcorlee1289 on December 7th, 2010 06:05 pm (UTC)
You can...

But you have to trudge through the snow and hope that the snow removal team went and removed the snow away...

Otherwise, pray that you have long enough and a warm enough pair of boots!
E.soothing_sight on December 7th, 2010 11:58 am (UTC)
Oh, now, come on. This is not at all bad. You're making such a big case of SOME snow.

And you went to the theaters to watch Harry Potter in this weather?!

You are a mad woman, I only left the house briefly to walk to the metro (to show my brother how to recharge his OPUS), walked back home to take a picture and to take a picture of the house...

I'm dreading Friday when I have to leave the house to hand in my essay and it's expected to snow 10+ centimeters TT^TT

I know what you mean!!

Those who don't live near us cannot understand why we're not happy with snow...

I do love snow... Just not when I need to leave the house...

Uwa!!! Sugoi! Really a LOT of snow!
Hope that so much snow don't cause any meiwaku to people there! ♪(v^_^)v

This is a "little snowfall" we're expected to get a heck of a lot more since it'll be snowing all week...

have you been outside yet??? I have an exam today but I really don't want to go outside lol

I went outside briefly to the metro to show my younger brother how to charge up his OPUS card...

I'll be dreading Friday (when I need to hand in my essay), Sunday (when I go see Jeff Dunham at the Bell Center), and definitely Monday (when I have a final exam)...

Is this something normal? I mean, the occurrence/percentage of snowfall in your areas?
Coz, we don't have snow here, BUT it rained cat n dog n the the level of water, I mean the downpour rain is extremely different with previous years.
Seems, the weather is changing everywhere. what's with all the juggling stuff on north pole ice, global cold/warm (which is?)

Aiyaa, what's with this writing. . . .too serius.
corlee1289: Dear Snow [2010.10.01] (MS) Snowingcorlee1289 on December 7th, 2010 06:15 pm (UTC)

Believe it or not, this is actually "normal" winter weather for us here...

Once, about two or three years ago, it snowed something like 35 centimeters overnight... The snow was so much that it was really difficult to open the door to go outside...

My younger brothers were really happy though, they didn't need to go to the park to go tobogganing, they did it in the front yard with no worries since there was so much snow on the roads that the cars and buses couldn't get through our street XD
Josephinejosylovesjun on December 7th, 2010 06:53 pm (UTC)
Lol the difference!!! XD
Here it was I think between the two pic =)
the snow here is smelting but at night it's freezing so it's REALLY slippery now ^.^
suu9 on December 7th, 2010 10:50 pm (UTC)
It's awesome! We have to go tobogganing. We seriously do.

I like seeing snow falling from the sky.. but I don't like it when it's snowing and I have to drive or go to work..

All I can say is.. I'm glad I live in Vancouver. ^^
corlee1289: HnA [2010.07.22] Sakumoto!failcorlee1289 on December 8th, 2010 03:44 am (UTC)

Sometimes I do envy you... I mean last year you guys practically had no snow?!

Just rain?!

But at the same time, I think I would be depressed if there wasn't snow... There is no pleasing me at all... XD

But yeah, us Canadians love the snow... So long as we don't need to leave the house and shovel it away...
玲 Reihwangtinglee on December 8th, 2010 12:57 am (UTC)

And I though I'm freezing already where I live

You're crazy~!

That would imply that it would have to be below freezing in order for it to be able to snow there...

And I don't think you're well adapted to the cold~!

A friend of mine who lives in Australia already says that 17C is freezing for her, here it's currently -7C
