Yummy Food of Awesomeness~
April is finally coming to a close and with it, my bus pass for the month will be expiring as well. Since the semester for university (at least for McGill University) I decided to abuse and go out as much as I possibly could with the little days left in the month. What better way to spend going to Downtown and Chinatown but to eat?

I went to two Korean restaurants with my friend within these past two weeks. I adore her, she's a friend that I met in one of my classes and I was thrilled to find out she was a Korean drama fan! We decided to meet up and go to a Korean restaurant to do BBQ like what they do in the dramas hearts

The first restaurant we went to was last week on Thursday (19th) called "Chez Bong" located in Chinatown. However, I wasn't all that happy with it because I had really wanted to do self BBQ on the grill, but if I had wanted to do that at the restaurant, I would have had to pay more. Mind you the food was delicious, it just wasn't what I had in mind when we went out together NG

The second restaurant we went to was Seoul Chako located in Downtown and I was absolutely ecstatic that we went there. There were some bad reviews about the place, but I was perfectly content because we were able to grill our own meat!! The food in the picture here wasn't everything that we had, the table was really big and I could only fit so much into the picture ^_^;;

My friend's victory pose of successfully being able to find a Korean BBQ place and for it being awesomely good arrowup

My younger brother didn't have school today, so we went Downtown to try some food at a really popular Japanese restaurant that people would line up and wait outside in the cold to eat at. Intrigued, we went to the restaurant called "Kazu" cherryblossom

When we got there, there was three people ahead of us, but once we got there, a line of people started filling out behind us. We ended up sharing a table with a mother and her daughter who also wanted to see what the reviews were raving about. I must admit, the food was absolutely delicious! sparkles

My brother ordered the ramen and I ordered the 48 hour pork and we were both blissfully happy as we ate the food. The ramen noodles are hand made at the restaurant, and like the title says, the 48 hour pork is braised in a very delectable sauce for 48 hours to ensure that the flavor encompasses the meat heart1

Sadly, the last day of April will be on Monday and I'm hoping to go out again before being confined to the house and typing out that twelve page paper that I must force myself to finish before the second week in May lightbulb

The food look so yummy*loud stomach rumbling* I still haven't found a nice Korean BBQ restaurant here in Berlin...I tried Korean and Japanese BBQ in Tokyo before and it was really nice, so I totally understand you for having fun doing this...you still have to write that paper? Then I'm sorry for my pm, but at least you can/could rest a little at the end of April...

YES!

It was because of all those Korean dramas I watch where they're doing the self BBQ that I've been wanting to do it as well. But I didn't want to go by myself as that would be boring, so I was thrilled to find a friend who also watched Korean dramas and who wanted to do it with me~

Yes, I still have that paper to write... I feel I'm procrastinating on the damn thing and it's preventing me from doing other things *sighs*

How was your operation that you had early last month? Daniel's healed up, but he's forbidden from doing gym classes until late June nor is he allowed to lift anything over 5 pounds (2.5 kilo).

I swear once I finish my paper, I'll definitely write you an awesome letter!!

Well, I still have pains(and will have them for at least 2 or 3 months) and I am not allowed to do any kind of sports, to bend down or to have any contact with water with my left ear...It's so hard to remember the rules, when I want to throw sth in the trash or to put sth in the dishwasher...or even when I want to dance to Arashi songs(umm...it's more like jumping and bouncing around -_-) But even if I don't remember them, I will know it after a few seconds...*ouch* and washing my hair is so annoying, but at least the result(up to 30 dB better than before, at least) is nice, so I have to bear with it ^^'
