Fufufu~ I recently got back to my DS and fell in love all over again with Otome games. I poked a bit around the app store and saw this series. Its quite expensive (considering I've never bought anything more than $3 before xD) so I was wondering which one to get. I saw that alot people liked the Ninja ver? Though the guys are cuter in the Konkatsu one xD Which one should I get???

Personally my favorite one was the Heian Love since you'll get more out of your money as there are FIVE alternative endings which all have pictures associated with them, making the replay value higher.

In all the other games, there are only two or three endings where only the happy ending lands you a picture :3

I liked the Ninja Love as well, but haven't had the chance to type out their respective walkthroughs because school is slowly killing me. But I do warn you, the sexual themes are more suggestive in Ninja Love than the other ones *insert hentai thoughts here*

hi, I was just wondering about the Shall we date? Actor Love game and since you didnt have a walkthrough so I decided to make my own! I have no real need to post it anywhere, so why not give it to you since you have all the other walkthoughs? I did mention that the happy ending solution that I provided at the end did have some variation to get it but the one that I provided was guaranteed to gain it :3 But I do welcome any correction if I did a mistake (who's Toki??)

The game is cute, to me at least but unlike the Prince Love there aren't many twists in the story or exciting events, it's just basically about you playing as the first girl to enter in a recently switched all boys school to a co-ed school, so all the students are fascinated by you. All that really happens is that whatever character you choose, you do some sort of training to become a better actress with the character and you eventually they come to love you, whether they say in the story line that they hate you. Like I said, no so exciting...but they act cute once they show the liking of you. Blushing and all~

And yes, you did mention the happy end solution may vary~also Toki is one of the characters, hes a real bitch in my opinion ^.^

I'm soooo happy I discovered this lol downloaded the game when I saw you reviewed it and I'm OBSESSED! XD Just playing the Ninja one right now and I just love love Saizo. Kept getting the normal ending (which was still good) but thanks to your list here I can complete the happy ending. Just had no tolerance whatsoever to go through all the chapters LOL!

As far as I know, they're also available on it iTouch (3rd generation and higher), the iPhone, and some are available on the iPad.

I do also believe that they're available for the Android phones as well (at least that Japanese ones are)

But other than that, they are not supported by any other platforms which they can be played on (from what I understand).

Well haha I love both Prince Love and Ninja love, The Ninja version is my favorite actually but its very very hard to collect all pictures really, I am having a hard time to collect Goemons pictures, he's my favorite character, I havent tried the KONKATSU" version or Heian version or actor to be,

I dont know how they are, Are they good?? I like the Ninja Version characters the best :P

the Themes and characters of Ninja Love and Prince Love is more of appealing to me :D I am not so much into the characters in the other games tho, I like that type of Anime characters

To be honest, I didn't really like the drawing of the characters for Actor to be and the artwork for KONKATSU was quite pretty~ (I loved Rintaro)

However, I do love Heian Love as it was my very first otome game that was released from Solmare NTT. Not only that, but Heian Love has FIVE alternative endings which all merit a picture reward when you get it. It also is the one with more replay value and is worth the money more in comparison to the other games that were released <3

You could always follow my walkthrough of Goemon if you're having difficulty getting the pictures (I love both Goemon and Munenori).

You can look over the introduction post and then also read the individual character routes that I did of them (I usually write a small impression of the characters and post the pictures as well). I think from there, you would be able to draw your own conclusions and see which game you should pursue next.

I'm still waiting patiently for the other two games to finish being translated, I understand Japanese perfectly fine, but it would be consistent with the LJ entries that I've been doing.

I'm very sorry to hear that, I've been trying to find a free alternative if it is possible. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find such a solution. The only thing that I can think of is for you to jailbreak your device so that you will be able to download the app for free.

Despite it being rather expensive, I have purchased the games in order to support the creators and the translation team who put in the effort to make it accessible to the English market.

Your walkthrough looks good with all the pictures~~ Thank you!! The only game I have completed is Ninja Love (with all the 5 side stories). I'm now playing Konkatsu. However, the choice for the Konkatsu Love is quite difficult to choose if without your walkthroughs~~ For Heian Love, it's quite easy to get the happiest ending even without the walktroughs (I got happier ending for 2 of the 5 basic charcters for the first time playing and the other 3 are happiest ending). However, I am not sure if I want to reply them as to get the other pictures~~ For Sweet Prince, do you think it's valuable to get the extra characters pack?

Just that you might know that there is a free version of Ninja Love (for GREE) available (include all the side stories).

I didn't know if others would be interested in Pirates in Love and My Forged Wedding (I did purchase all the characters) walkthroughs, I am tempted to create them though. I just don't know if others would want them.

I absolutely loath and hate Be My Princess. You have you wait until the next day in order to progress to the next five chapters and if you want to progress faster, you need to pay real money for it. I'm still playing it, but I'm getting annoyed with it more and more as each day passes.

For Sweet Prince, it was really hard for me. I only wanted Jun and Melchiorre, but in order to get them both, I had to purchase the remaining two character packs. I personally loved the endings for Jun and Melchiorre, so I thought it was worth it <33

I haven't purchased Thomas in Pirates in Love and the Uncle in My Forged Wedding. How are those? Thomas seems to be a more naive character than the MC. As for the Uncle, well, he isn't that attractive as compared to the other characters.

True. It takes long time to play Be My Princess. The story is actually longer too (I believe I have played it for more than a month and I still haven't finished one route). Too bad the graphic for the English paid version is completely different from the Japanese version and the GREE version -_-!!

For Sweet Prince, I have the same thought too! That's why I am hesitated into buying those two.

Hmm... In terms of Pirates in Love (PiL), I've only ever finished Edward and Nathan. I'm currently playing Thomas, but it's taking longer for me because I'm really not into his character.

As for the My Forged Wedding (MFW), the uncle isn't that romantic, but I bought his route for the sake of having all the characters and to see what his route is like. Of all the routes I've purchased for this game, I love Yamato, Saeki, and Ren <33

I'm finishing Joshua's route (slowly) and the graphics are really turning me off from continuing from the game, but I really want to play it!

Yes, I don't understand why the English version is so fundamentally different from the Japanese one. The Japanese one follows the style of PiL and MFW.

Jun's ending for Happy Princess was probably one of my favorite routes because I've always wanted an ending like that <33

Yes, Edward's route is the best in PiL (Excluding Thomas)!! Though, I have no idea why the graphic of Edward and the Doctor are different from the one in the Japanese version.

I also Yamato, Saeki, and Ren in MFW. The one thing I don't like is that the background graphic in Ren's home country is from Pirates in Love (or the other way around).

I am playing Wilfred and Joshua's routes (I have two devices). I have no idea how long the story would be, but I actually don't have many pictures in the album (for Wilfred, I'm in the story level 15 and I only have the first two pictures in the album; for Joshua, I think I'm in story level 6 or 7 with only the first picture in the album). The compatiability for both are A. I wonder if I have missed all the others.

I might get Jun's character pack after I finish Konkatsu. I only have Takuma's route left.

By the way, the GREE version of Ninja Love is not that bad. The story is the same but the layout is different. I like the bubble (the area for the text) in GREE version as they are in black with half transparency. I finished Goemon's base story and Female Ninja Training in GREE version again. I think it took me around 1-2 weeks to complete the base story for free. It might be a good alternative if people don't want to spend money. Though, in order to reread the story, you have to either replay it or buy it.

Yes, I recall a few other users lamentating that the other games aren't available in their countries.

Sadly, they aren't accessible by other means (as far as I know) if you can't access them from their app store or from their website~

From what I see, Solmare didn't pull back the games and are still available for purchase from both the in app purchase on the iPhone/iPod and it's also available for purchase online via the apple website.

Try restarting your App Store app and try again, they're appearing perfectly fine on my iPhone and they're listed on the website~

I tried too since I can't afford to buy any of them so I'm left with the one that is free (well it is free on Android anyway, don't know about iPhone) but there doesn't seem to be any that are free or available on computer so I don't think there are any other options...though for some reason that stupid Be My Princess game (IDK why I play that thing, I hate it lol) randomly pops up a thing that says it's not available in my country, which is not the case

I only have the Gree version of the Ninja Love game on my Android phone (not sure which others are available cause it seems iPhone has more and not many are in English, I just started learning Japanese and I'm nowhere near good enough to try to play a game, also it seems like they do this weird thing where you don't just pay one time for the whole game, you have to get it in parts to get everything, and I can't pay for games for a long time cause I had to pay a lot to get my phone and then fix it...I don't think they make anything durable anymore lol) but this is by far the best walkthrough I have seen, so thanks ^-^ I was wanting to get the pictures and on this game I have to do the super happy endings for that, and then I am going to go back through and answer honestly, see who I really get along with XD

Unfortunately, I don't think that there is a place where you can download the games (as far as I know) where you can get them for free. I mean, the introduction/prologue bit is free for both Androids and iPhones, but other than that, all subsequent chapters must be paid for to get full access.

I would definitely love to make a walkthrough for Shall we Date: Strawberry Love. However, despite my desires to want to play this game, it's only available on Androids and not available on the iTunes (since I play the games on my iPhone/iTouch) and as luck would have it, none of my friends have an Android for me to borrow to play.

I think there are walkthroughs for the game available online, but they might be written in Japanese. I did find one fellow person on LJ who wrote the walkthrough for the character named Kouji Kunimitsu, but that's all I was able to find.

I'm really hoping it will be available in English sometime in the near future, or at least the Japanese version to be available on iTunes since I'm fairly proficient in Japanese to be able to understand it (and have a dictionary for kanji characters that I don't understand)

Until then, I can only woefully pine after people who have Androids...

I was aware of those three games and I did give them all a try, but I've dropped Ninja Love and My Sweet Bodyguard for GREE. However, I'm still very much playing the Be My Princess for GREE <3

But why did you drop the other two? I really like them. But probably because I can play the normal version, cause I can't buy anything lol

I dropped Ninja Love because I already have the paid version and Hanzo's route being available in the GREE version wasn't an incentive to play it since I wasn't overly fond of him.

I also dropped My Sweet Bodyguard because I detest how the avatar looks like. She's weird looking. Not only that, but it takes a ridiculous amount of "party" point in order to raise your factors in order to play it. I was on the fifth chapter and it was telling me that I had insufficient amount. It wasn't a small amount either but a relatively large one. Which brings me to believe that the game is trying to prompt you to pay with real money in order to advance in the storyline.

From what I saw from the previews in regards to Celebrity Darling, the avatar looks pretty... But I'll need to actually download the game when it's available for the iPhone so that I can judge it properly~

Well, I am at the very end with my first character in the bodyguard. And I could play till now without paying. Also, they do some cute events which helps you to raise your amount of points. But I agree with you, the avatar is bizarre!! hahaha

And about the darling celebrity avatar, I don't think is that great, It's just... plain, I guess, not cute or whatever. I don't really like it.
But the story is pretty cute itself, so it's worth it!

btw, I wish they make other games for Gree, shall we date ones and voltage ones too, It would be great for people like me who live on the other side of the world and can't pay, because they don't accept the currency or the country ):

I find the stories to be even SHORTER than that of the Be My Princess ones?

I also wish that there were more games translated! Voltage has a lot more under their name, but sadly, they're not translated. So I do hope that it does gradually become released. I've given up on NTT Solmare (Shall We Date) since there haven't been any releases for a long time despite them also having other games...
