Shall we date?: Heian Love SAKUHITO
As I mentioned in the introduction post (HERE), I've decided to keep track of the correct answers for the characters from the iPod's otome game "Shall we date?: Heian Love" since I haven't been able to find a guide on the net. This post will be the walkthrough solution for Emperor Kuze's twin brother, Sakuhito, who stands in for him as his body double secrethimitsu

He's my second favorite character after his twin brother, Emperor Kuze, due to his sunny disposition that he has~  He's not as lovey dovey as the Emperor, but he does have his own uniqueness. He tries to be all heroic by sacrificing his love for you by trying to say that it was his brother who wrote the poem in order to give you to his brother since he's the shadow that cannot come into the light as he is a body double for his brother lightbulb

Here are the photos associated with Sakuhito from his album:

His letters to you (which are sent to your mailbox by the end of the chapter) are as followed:

These are the five endings that you can get with Sakuhito which are happiest ending, happier ending, happy ending, normal ending, and unhappy ending. Pictures are shown from happiest ending to unhappy ending order:

The happiest ending is Emperor Kuze abdicates the throne and let's Sakuhito become Emperor so that he cannot meet out a punishment. Sakuhito marries you which makes you Empress and you're pregnant with Sakuhito's imperial child which he's ecstatic about.

The happy ending has Emperor Kuze officially recognizing Sakuhito as a blood relative. But because you're of low birth, you become a concubine to Sakuhito who promises that he will never have another woman aside from you.

The happy ending has Emperor Kuze exiling Sakuhito to the Eastern Provinces and you follow him there to live together.

The normal ending has Emperor Kuze exiling Sakuhito to the Eastern Provinces with you stuck at the Imperial court and you exchange letters since you can never meet.

The unhappy ending has Emperor Kuze banishing you both from the Imperial court with Sakuhito sent to somewhere unknown and you being disgracefully sent back to your own house.

Depending on the answers you give to Sakuhito, you'll get one of the endings aforementioned. If you chose all the correct answers, you'll get the happiest ending. If you choose all the incorrect ones, you'll get the unhappy ending. All the other endings vary on how many correct and incorrect ones you give.

In order to get the happiest ending with Sakuhito, you must select these answers (with some slight variation):
I feel so stupid
You don't trust me
Do I interest you?
It must be hard
Talk about Kuze
Console him
What's happened?
Have faith in me
Why are you here?
Thank you
No way!
You're a good man
I understand
I know you
I worry about you
I think I lo...
Call out
Are you alright?
He has no choice
Do you mean that?
Ask about poem
I missed you
You don't get it
I'm with you
It will be OK
Think about Sakuhito

That's the end of Sakuhito's route~! hearts

Please do not repost this without my permission or claim this as your own as it took me a while to get all the possible routes!!

Oh-ho, I see some scandalous pictures there.

I looked up the game and I'm thinking about getting it.
Do you think that the game is worth the price?
I have a bunch of games I got and haven't played yet XD

HAHAHAAA~

That's as scandalous as it gets I'm afraid X3

You never actually have sexual relations with any of the characters but it's implied that you do with the picture (it's a rated 12+ game) and you can interpret it as you hugging the person ^^;;

I love the game mostly because of the pretty artwork that was used. However, there is a lack of background music to the game as well as it not having a "save" function (in the sense that you can save the game before making a choice and if you realized you messed up, you can start back at the save point)

But I think it's really worth it~!

Heheheh ... I actually ended up purchasing the game yesterday because I got bored when I was out and my laptop died on me.

It is very aesthetically pleasing, but I just have to laugh sometimes because of how corny the dialogue gets XD

corny lines Heian love shall we date
Not to be offensive towards the makers of the game. But your'e right about the cornyness, but then again it is the Heian era were talking about. It was nothing but cheesecake lines with them xD

but then again its just so good and it does crack people up so i say more corny dating games Ill say xD

Re: corny lines Heian love shall we date
I only wish there were more games like this! *bricked*

I found one that looks promising, but it's completely and purely in Japanese. I've studied for Japanese for two years already, but I'm nowhere confident enough to play a game with only text.

I did purchase the HanaDan game for the DS which was completely in Japanese, but I was able to play it perfectly since since I already knew the storyline, but there was also audio where the characters would read out what the text said...

HAHAHAHAAA~

But I like the corniness~ I'm a romantic at heart damnit! But then again, I think my love for HanaDan (as you've undoubtedly noticed) is of any indication at all :3

But the pretty!! <3

Re: thank you so much
OH. MY. GAWD.

NONE OFFENCE TAKEN!! I would love to obtain your help to finish off this walkthrough solution guide!!

As I mentioned in the post, I only started to post the answers for the game because I wasn't able to find anyone giving out the responses and it was also for me to remember the route since if you make a mistake or two, you can't obtain that blasted happiest ending!!

I just posted the results for Hisame and I'm currently trying to tackle down Mikage and Yui, but they won't let me get their happiest ending!! *shakes fist* But then again, the remaining characters (Mikage, Masakuni, Yui, Hinata, and Izo) that I have yet to conquer will allow me to get their happiest ending.

So any help from you would be very much appreciated and I would definitely credit you for the happiest ending for both Mikage and Masakuni since they're proving to be... Difficult...

Please PM me the results via LJ, and once I finished getting all the other alternative endings (happy-unhappiest), I'll post the responses~ *continues to get the other endings*

Thank you so very much for your help!! I know it must not have been easy for you to obtain the happiest ending since one wrong answer will lead you to the happier ending...

Love this
Your walkthroughs for the games are so helpful. But with Sakuhito one of the answers is wrong. The one where he asks you to keep the secret. It's actually "You don't trust me" not "I won't tell". Just thought I'd point it put since it was the happiest ending route. And you should talk about Kuze and not Ibara.

Re: Love this
Oh thank you very much for pointing those out for me!

At the time when I wrote the walkthroughs, I didn't realize that I had made two errors when I got the happiest ending. I think I was too ecstatic finally getting the happiest ending that I never took the time to revisit the game to see if all the answers I given were fully correct. Luckily, it seems that if you only make two errors, you can still get the happiest ending <3

If there are any others that I've missed in my other walkthroughs, please don't hesitate to comment and tell me :3
